Ingredients

STEP 1 INGREDIENTS
250 mls Water
3 teaspoon of kashmiri chilli powder
4 teaspoon of coriander powder
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
STEP 2 INGREDIENTS
2-3 tablespoon of cooking oil
350-600g Chicken pieces
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoon of natural yogurt
2 large potatoes
350-400mls of water
STEP 3 INGREDIENTS
2-3 tablespoon of cooking oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 taspoon fennel seeds
12 pepper
4 cloves
2 large onions
10-15 curry leaves
2 tablespoon ginger
1 fresh chilli
1 teaspoon salt
1 tomato
2 tablespoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
2-3 tablespoon coriander leaves
How to Make
Step 1
In a bowl add water and add all the step 1 ingredients and mix well with a whisk.
Keep aside
Step 2
Maintain low to medium heat.
In a large pan add cooking oil
Add the spices with water (step 1 ingredients mixed )
Boil for 2 minutes on low flame.
After 2 minutes add chicken pieces, salt and natural yogurt.
Maintain low flame and mix well .
Cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes on medium flame.
After 20 minutes add potatoes sliced (watch video)
Add water, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove the lid and cook until the gravy starts to thicken(10-15 minutes).
Once gravy starts thicken, turn off heat and keep aside.
Step 3
In a pan add oil, add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, pepper, cloves, onion chopped, curry leaves, ginger. fresh chilli and salt.
Fry for 10-15 minutes.
Add tomato chopped, garlic paste, cinnamon powder and kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon.
Stir for 2 minutes.
Add this fried onion with spices to the chicken curry and cook another 5 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan, chapati, poori or rice.
