Ingredients


INGREDIENTS 


STEP 1


  • Pepper : 25


  • Cloves : 6


  • Fennel seeds : 1 teaspoon


  • Cardamom : 1


  • Cinnamon stick : 1 piece ( 4cm length)


STEP 2


  • Step 1 ingredients mixed : 1/2 tablespoon


  • Turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon


  • Chilli powder : 1/2 teaspoon


  • Coriander powder : 1/2 tablespoon


  • Salt : 1/2 teaspoon


  • Sunflower oil : as required


STEP 3


  • Sunflower oil : 2-3 tablespoon


  • Lamb chops : 300-400g


  • Shallot onions : 4-5 small


  • Ginger : 1 tablespoon


  • Garlic chopped : 4-5 pieces


  • Curry leaves : 8-10


  • Salt : 1/4 teaspoon


STEP 4


  • Capsicum : 2


  • Salt  to sprinkle


How to Make



STEP 1


  • Grind all the step 1 ingredients to make a smooth powder ( pepper, cloves, fennel seeds,

cardamom and cinnamon stick ).


  • Keep aside.


STEP 2


  • Mix all the step 2 ingredients with sunflower oil ( as required) to make a smooth paste ( watch


the video recipe)



STEP 3


  • Heat an iron skillet


  • Add sunflower oil 2-3 tablespoon


  • Maintain medium to high temperature


  • Coat the lamb chops with already made masala paste  and place on the hot skillet. After 4 minutes add the shallot onions, ginger, garlic curry leaves and salt to the side of the skillet. Stir in between and maintain temperature (watch video).


  • Cook one side of the lamb for 7 minutes, after 7 minutes flip to other side and cook for another 7 minutes. Again flip and cook for another 2 minutes.



  • Once the lamb chops are firm and soft, can transfer to a plate, also add the fried onions. 


STEP 4


  • Add the capsicum chopped with out seeds to the same oil in the skillet, sprinkle some salt and stir fry for two minutes. 


  • After 2 minutes transfer from skillet to the plate containing lamb chops.  This recipe is best served with rice.
